KC The Clown

What do you do if a child is not sure of the clown?

That does not occur often, but if it does, KC says and does certain things that reassure the child that everything is alright.

How many children can I have for a party with KC the Clown?

I do mini parties that you can have between 1 to 7 children, these are usually a half hour program. Mini parties can be done any day of the week which is nice because they can be done on the child’s actual birthday. If I am already in my clown makeup (I already have other bookings as KC the Clown) then KC will be available. If the mini party is during the week and I do not have other KC the Clown bookings, then I will come as “Jeannie Jester”, a very nice costume for children.

For an hour or more with KC the Clown, you may have from 8 children to 40 children. Once I know how many children you’re going to have (or approximate number) I can then tell you what I can do in the time frame you would like. You have choices as to the activities that I do, but its always fun and I like to keep it interesting for the children.

How do I make a payment for KC the Clown?

I do require a deposit to hold the date and time for my services. It can be either a check mailed in advance, or you can do a credit/debit card payment. Deposits are non-refundable. In the event a scheduled event needs to be postponed or canceled, deposits would need to be used within a six month period of the scheduled date. The remainder of the balance would be due the day of the booking in cash only. If it’s a last minute booking, then the total amount due would be paid on a credit/debit card or in cash only at the booking.

What is the price for KC the Clown?

The price starts at $140.00 for an hour. Additional costs would include, longer time, any travel, and additional services.

If I hire KC the Clown, how do I know you will show up?

I have a 100% rate of showing up on the date and time I was hired to perform. For any unforeseen reason that I will be late, I will give you a courtesy call.

What is intricate balloon art?

I use one balloon to make a balloon sculpture that looks like the actual thing. (Ex. A parrot in a swing, an airplane with wheels, a swan, a dinosaur, a monkey, etc.) I can make over 20 different balloon sculptures.

Singing Telegrams

How far do you travel?

We generally travel 60 miles.

What are the different occasions that you do for singing telegrams?

We do birthdays, anniversaries, retirement, boss’s day, get well, Valentine’s, I love you, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduations.

We don’t limit our singing telegrams to the list provided, we do them for any occasion. In the past we have also done them for, passing your driver’s license test (or not!), happy layoff, weddings, will you marry me, passing the bar, and relationship “I screwed up”, to name a few.

How do I make a payment for a singing telegram?

We accept most major credit cards, or you can pay by check in advance, or we accept cash the day of the booking. All three are for the total amount due for the services.

If the singing telegram is a surprise, is it ok to hide the performer?

We love to surprise the person for their occasion and we don’t mind hiding…as long as you don’t put us in a broom closet for 20 minutes! (And yes, that actually happened.)

What is the price for a singing telegram?

We have different packages to choose from, for all of our occasions. They vary in price depending on what you are looking for. Feel free to send us a message or call for specific details.

If I hire you how do I know you will show up?

For over 20 years we have a 100% rate for showing up for our bookings. For any unforeseen reason that we will be late, we will give you a courtesy call to inform you of that.

If I decide to cancel the singing telegram and I already paid in full, do I get a full refund?

If you inform us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time and you sent us a check, we will refund you the total amount paid.

If you inform us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time and you paid by credit card, since we charge a small processing fee, we will refund the total principle amount minus the credit card processing fee.

Holly The Elf

How far do you travel?

I generally travel 60 miles.

There's going to be about 15 to 30 children at our Christmas party, what can Holly the Elf do?

For smaller parties, you have a selection of activities you can choose from. Your choices are, different games that any child can play (even 1 or 2-year-olds), balloon art, Christmas sing-along songs, and Christmas tattoos. Holly can also hand out Christmas presents herself or assist Santa in any way.

There's going to be 50 to 100 children at our Christmas party, can Holly the Elf handle that many children?

Holly has been at Christmas parties where there were over 100 children! In this case, she has a beautifully painted poster board that has all the balloon sculptures she can make (over 20 of them). The children may choose anything on the board and walk away happy with their selection.

Holly could also assist Santa in handing out Christmas presents or if Santa got stuck in the snow Holly could hand out the presents herself!

How do I make a payment to Holly the Elf?

The exception to this rule, is if a company is hiring Holly the Elf the final payment can be in a check form but must be the companies check and be for the total balance that’s due.

If it is a last minute booking then the total amount would be paid either by credit/debit card before the booking or by cash only the day of the booking.

If I hire Holly the Elf, how do I know she will show up?

If I decide to cancel the booking with Holly the Elf, do I get a refund on my deposit or if I paid in full?

Since Holly the Elf requires a deposit to hold your date and time, therefore no other person can reserve that time slot…there are no refunds for the deposit. Although- if you would like to book another date and time that is available, then you could use that deposit for the new booking.

If you paid for the booking in full prior to the date and had to cancel. First, you could see if another date and time is available to you for your party. If you wanted to totally cancel you would get half of the total amount paid to us, as long as you have given us at least a 72 hour notice of cancellation of the date and time scheduled. If you do not give us a 72 hour or longer notice then there would be no refund at all. The reason for this is, it is a very busy time for entertainment businesses and there are very few dates and times that Christmas parties can be booked.

Lawn Announcements

How far do you travel?

We generally travel up to 20 miles. Keep in mind that since we will come and put up the lawn announcements, and then come back to pick them up, the total mileage for that lawn announcement would be 80 miles.

How many lawn announcements do you put on the lawn?

Most of our lawn announcements are 3-D and have depth to them, we put 30 of them out on the lawn, plus the 2 sided sign.

Can we put our own saying on the sign that comes with the lawn announcements?

Some people have put their own saying or a personal joke on the sign. Our only rule is…as long as it is kept “clean”! We will work with you to fit your message on the lines that are available.

But don’t worry, we have a good selection of sayings to choose from for each kind of lawn announcement. The problem a lot of people have is, there are too many good ones to pick from!

Can I come and pick up the lawn announcements at your location and put them up myself?

No, unfortunately for liability reasons only our professionals can put them up and take them down.

How much are the lawn announcements?

We have different prices for the lawn announcements. They vary in price depending on if it’s for a child or an adult, you have a choice of 3 different packages for the stork, and if you would like to have them up for 1 day or additional days.

How do I pay for the lawn announcements?

You can either send us a check for the full amount in advance or you can make a payment in full with a credit/debit card.

What if I have a small lawn?

We have done many small lawns and managed to fit them on the lawn.

Do you put them up all year round and in bad weather?

Yes, we put them up all year round. The only exception is on holidays if the availability is there and we can do it. Also, an additional charge would be added to the base amount.

In regards to putting them up in bad weather, we will determine if it is safe to travel or not.
